I am eating a chocolate chip cookie

This is something most people take for granted in their lives, the ability to eat whatever treat they want.  This cookie is a Mac the Chip http://www.alternativebaking.com/productinfo.cfm?pid=9&CFID=3877&CFTOKEN=71987114
with no wheat, oil, dairy, peanuts or eggs.  Actually tastes pretty good.

What tasted even better was a cherry almond rice crispie treat that I had last week.

This weekend I made my first non-wheat, non-dairy birthday cake! It tasted surprisingly good, though it was a bit crunchy due to the nut flour.
I used to bake a lot before when I could eat everything. When I got my allergies I tried recipes from a gluten-free cookbook as well as modify my own but they just tasted bad so I went without.
Recently, I got a new gluten-free cookbook that seems much better. I think I will try brownies next.
